Hello! My name is Rose and after just recently graduating, I am off once more to live abroad, but this time I will be living between Austria and Germany two years and I'm super excited to be back! I have lived abroad a few times already, but I'm hoping to live abroad for a few more years and eventually settle in a European Country.

My goal for this experience is to actually backpack from the West of Europe to the East of Europe or at least see more places!

I am a "do-er" kind of person and am willing to do anything to accomplish my goals unless they conflict with my moral ethics/philosophies. I am told by many that I smile a lot (but don't flip out if I don't smile sometimes, it's normal haha) and that if I could dance forever, I would (it runs in the Latina blood so I can't help it!). I am very energetic, but that doesn't mean I don't like to just "chill" and sit down to have meaningful conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really hoping to meet people that could introduce me to their culture and to actually receive tips from them. One of my goals is to highlight a certain characteristic of each country I go to based on what the locals show me. Also, I feel like staying with people from CS would be great because I'll be able to learn from their travel experiences and their overall thoughts about everything and anything. I love learning and listening to people's stories so this will give me that opportunity to do so :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I pick up random ones while I'm out and about. Currently not reading anything, but I have read plenty of books ☺️

Music: I have a broad music taste. I listen to anything from J.Cole, Rihanna, Beyonce, Alina Baraz, EDM (especially deep house), David Guetta, Aventura, JBalvin, Stromae, Jack Johnson, to The Expandables. Honestly, anything with a good beat is fine with me! It mainly depends on my mood hahah

Movies: Memento, Meet Joe Black, Die Welle, A Beautiful Mind, The Theory of Everything. These are just a few movies that I enjoyed a lot. I like the ones that make me think or are based off on real events/stories. I do enjoy comedies too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ended up getting "adopted" by two Turkish grandmas and getting to know Turkish locals via drawing pads and thus learned more about their culture/language :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to teach some Latin dances, Spanish or English! I would be more than happy to learn some key phrases in a foreign language or share my experiences throughout my life with the people I meet! I have become more open thanks to the life choices I have made these past 3 years so I wouldn't mind doing so.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food! I enjoy cooking and will definitely whip up some Mexican food if you guys are up for it! If I nail down some Galician or Spanish foods, I'll more than be happy to do those as well! :)
