About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to change the world, for the better -- by making art, animations & interactive pieces and teaching.

ABOUT ME

I'm an organized, disciplined creative person. (Imagine that!) I play hard, work hard and love helping others grow in their creative journeys...

I believe that you should do what you love for a living and that you should always lend a hand and be willing to let life show you an amazing journey.

PHILOSOPHY

"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love traveling and meeting people -- Right now, I'm in "regroup and make life kick ass mode" - so my involvement now is mainly just when I travel. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a time or two and hosted when I had my own place. Staying with other people beats hotel room isolation hands-down.

Interests

Digital art. Experimenting. Sewing. Cooking. Projecting things on the sides of buildings and anywhere else. Making creative pieces and parts for my friends' films -- particularly costumes, props, storyboards and things for their sets...Building things. Painting. Playing ukulele (which I will probably bring when I surf). Singing sometimes and dancing always :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love reading technical books (how to program things, make things, build them) and books on creativity/how to teach. Love animations -- especially shorts.

For fun, I read Jon Ronson, Oliver Sachs - anything to do with people and their oddities :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once built the globe theater to-scale out of pasta and glue with a few friends. It's in my 9th grade high school English teacher's room, still.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make amazingly awesome chocolate chip cookies, how to code in JavaScript, how to animate just about anything, how to make ice cream, how to cook a damned fine omelette, how to draw and how to Charleston.
