Hello, my name is Itzel, I was born in Mexico but I see myself as a global citizen that belongs nowhere and everywhere.
Each day is an opportunity for meet new people and new cultures, I love the interaction with local people because is the way I learn about life (knowledge, skills and feelings).
I love to read, to watch movies, to have deep conversations in a peaceful way (always respecting, I'm very open minded), to have long walks, to cook, the art in general, etc. I do meditation and try to have a vegetarian life.
When I travel I really want to know the local life, the touristic life does not attract me at all.
I prefer to drink something or cook and have dinner with local people while having a cool conversation than to visit different landmarks (DEFINITELY). I appreciate a lot small but meaningful details in life that will last on my mind for ever.
I heard about couchsurfing long time ago and in June 2017 during a trip I did with a friend from the Emirates I did it for the first time because my friend was doing it, and I was so happy and amazed because I could realized that people who do couchsurfing is so friendly and they have huge hearts and souls, that's why I want to keep doing it. I have been traveling a lot since I was a little child and I can say that this way of traveling and meeting cultures is one of the best ones ever.
I will be updating this page so I can host when I'm not traveling in Spain and Mexico. Meanwhile I can maybe assist in any information needed about any of the cities/countries I've visited or lived in.
