ABOUT ME

I grew up in the country side in northern Romania, studied in Bucharest and now I am doing Master at the Academy for Music Aarhus, playing the violin. Being a musician, practicing and playing the instrument represents 90% of my life, but for inspiration I need my other hobbies as well, seeing new places, meeting new people, hiking in the mountains, taking landscape photos, cooking delicious dishes or watching a good movie. I connect really well with people who are spontaneus and are enjoying the nice little things, and of course, openminded, tolerant towards other cultures, sexualities, religions, but I'm not worrying about that, as the people who I met through couchsurfing were all amazing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS turned my life upside down in the best possible way, it showed me the best way to travel, where you get to know not only places, but more important, people, get into their lives, their culture, feeling like you leave something behind in every place you make a new friend.

Interests

My friends know that whenever I get help from them, I will cook something really tasty for them with all my heart, so it's also something I do for my CS hosts, if I get the chance.
Apart from that, I love doing outdoors acitivities, hiking, and spending time into the wild, unfortunately there is not much wilderness in Denmmark. Other than that, I am an amateur photographer, I hope to afford more in the future for what I love.

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of movies and tv series, classical music, have a soft spot for baroque, jazz, world music, arab music! and anything that catches the ear.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my home for a big adventure trip but ended with the police escorting me back home, that's because I was 5 years old. Unfortunately I remember only bits and pieces, but I think it gave my family a clue about my character, haha

Teach, Learn, Share

Would love to learn to cook any international recipes, to learn more about photography and my ultimate dream would be to learn to improvise on violin.
