Loving water and time spent with my friends, I often end up head to toe burnt after all day at the lake or just hanging out in the mountains. Despite that, I usually consider myself quite smart. My affection for Ally McBeal led me to law school, but I don't know how much it says about me. I usually dedicate my free time to cooking (which I completely love), fact-checking for an NGO and sewing my own dresses. And also persuading my friends that I did not come from the past so it is not necessary to call me "freaky oldschooler" :) Although I am not ashamed to say that if I could choose one time period to fit in, it would be 30s in America or almost any time period in history of Great Britain. Especially 60s with all the Beatles fever (which is my second everlasting affection.)

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

I have some awesome CS experiences from Cork and Lyon, I'm pretty much sure I fell in love with these places mostly because the people I met there thanks to Couchsurfing. After that I was using rather Airbnb for a while as I rather needed a place to stay, however CS community and its spirit is still something that you simply cannot replace by a rented appartment :) I can offer you my company in the city where I live. Rožnov is a beautiful place to live and Moravia generally is definitely worth visiting! So one day, if you would search for a guide here heading to eastern Europe or wherever, I´m totally in. Presenting the best of the place where you are in exchange of presentation of some other place by a local couchsurfer is what never gets boring!

Talking about movies, I'm not someone to talk to about recent news unfortunately. I love Quentin Tarantino movies, but please, don´t ask me about recent must-sees because I have no idea :D I personally prefer fantasy books, czech literature and Jane Austen´s novels. As already mentioned, I fell for the Beatles the moment I´ve heard I´ve just seen a face intro, but I can appreciate almost any kind of music, starting from Clean Bandit to Puccini.

One thing?! Ok, that would probably be my trip to London 2 years ago. That city has everything I expect from life - history, art, modern spirit, fun and nature. I have never had the feeling of belonging somewhere apart from my home, but I had it here, enjoying every moment of lying in the Regent´s park or chatting with locals. I definitely need to come back one day.

I love to cook, not only Czech cuisine. I am always happy to cook a dinner for my host, it is the least I can do for sharing a piece of your life space with me. I also play the guitar and speak few languages, so we can make a shor-term language tandem :) Try to ask me, maybe I also know something I don´t find worth-mentioning. I always very much appreciate some local tips and tricks from my host and maybe even grabbing a beer together, so that's what I'm trying to offer as a host as well. Otherwise I'm pretty much flexible and used to explore the place by my own.

The thing I appreciate the most are the talks about our life experiences, over a nice glass of wine and something to eat. Of course I will be happy to cook and hand over something of my kitchen-ninja skills - if you´re not too affraid. Also anything I learnt in the countries I visited is opened to discussion and I will be happy to share it with you.
