¡HOLA! I'm Ivan, I'm a serious guy at times, but if you get to know me for a while I'm really funny and cool sometimes. I'm a 21 year old architecture student from Mexico. Recently I've come to study to Europe and since then I've realized how much I enjoy meeting new people and new cultures. I've got to travel to some important and really cool cities, and I've lived some of the best experiences of my life traveling throughout Mexico and Europe. I used to study Italian and French, and I'd love to speak all the languages out there. For me it's kind of a hobby to study and learn new words in every languages, it helps you a lot to get to new places and of course it makes you look cool.

One of my great passions is architecture, I love talking about great buildings and their creators, and also about day-to-day normal buildings you see on the street. Every building is like a person you can get to know for me. My other passion is music, I love any kind of it. I play guitar and I know lots of funny and lots of cool songs. I love drawing sketches and taking a walk through unknown streets, always meeting something new.

I love traveling and meeting people from all around the world. I've done some trips to luxurious hotels and stayed there all day, but it's not something I enjoy. I enjoy meeting new people and places, and see the way the world really is. Travelling lets you discover tons of new things and change the way you see the world. Also I'm young and since I don't have an enormous travelling budget I've seen a great opportunity in Couchsurfing.

I love alternative and indie rock, all the basic stuff like the Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, The Killers, etc. But actually I enjoy all music genres, from classical to salsa with some pop and jazz in between. For me all music is beautiful.

About movies my top 5 are Back to the Future, Inception, Big Fish, 21 Jump Street and Inglorious Bastards.
I like anything with Leonardo DiCaprio on it and I love French movies.

I used to read a lot, now I don't have so much time. I really like the Song of Ice and Fire so if you like GoT we'll be very good friends automatically. I love historical fiction like The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet or The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco.
