About Me

I am currently hosting people in Novi Sad!

Part of me is an easy going adventurous person and the second part is a software engineer with an infinite amounts of topics to talk about (life, music, travel, films, series, books, music, sports, technology, dogs...). Yes, I`m also a dogs person and I worked in a local animals shelter during my high school time for about 4 years! :) . I'm very enthusiastic about visiting different cities and gaining new friendships from all around the world! A big food lover and I can confirm that if you ever visit a city I`m familiar with! I'm a very sporty person - in the summer time you can catch me on a basketball court or training crossfit or swimming in my free time. Novi Sad(a city where I study and live for 5 years now) is all about bike rides - the whole city and every street has a bike path and that makes me very happy! That is one of the must-do things when I visit a city also - spend a day using rent a bike to explore as much as possible! :)

To make living itself an art, that is the goal. -Henry Miller

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My parents rent apartments for a living so I am used to meeting people from everywhere and that is where I found the passion to travel and expand my horizons! Being that I have rooms to spare, I decided to offer it for my fellow travelers!
Also the experience I got from my visit to Istanbul (when I first used Couchsurfing platform) was amazing, my hosts were very welcoming, made me local dinner/breakfast meals and made lists of TODO things for my visit and I had long deep night conversations with them from which I learned a lot about Turkish culture. I really enjoyed all that and so I decided to use Couch on all my future travels!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music varies from all sorts of old school like Queens, Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Pink Floyd to the electronic music like techno Solomun, Stephan Bodzin, Boris Brejcha... It depends on the mood I guess, but after a few beers, I can listen and enjoy every kind of music! :D

Movies and series I think I watched too many, some of which I can recommend:
- Ex machina
- Shutter Island
- Oldboy
- Primal fear
- Shawshank Redemption
- 3:10 to Yuma
- Identity
- The best offer
- Intouchables
- Mulholland Drive

As you can see I enjoy thriller/mystery movies! :D

... and a loooot more!

Den Braun books are my favorite!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to Germany to buy a car for friends parents, and then used that car to travel around Europe(Holland, Belgium, France, Italy, Slovenia...) while sleeping in tents in parks, beaches, woods... until we spent all the money we had!

Sat down on Wednesday, decided I want to travel to Istanbul, made an account on Couchsurfing the same day and found 2 hosts, on Friday I embarked on the trip which lasted around 38 hours with minimum amount of money, but I arrived safely and spent an amazing 7 days in Turkey!

Teach, Learn, Share

Smiling at people is contagious!

teach: I spent 3 years teaching Chinese people English via Skype and that was an amazing experience and a way to help couchsurfers improve their English in talking with me! I can also offer a lot of tech/IT tips and tricks (for cheaper online airplane tickets buying for example...)

learn: I am trying to learn French as I have some previous knowledge with it.

share: Info about the best places in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Smederevo. Most importantly- main info would be about the best food and beer in the city! :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

Spend time showing around beautiful spots of Novi Sad, Belgrade, Smederevo. Share my traveling stories and offer bike tours in the cities I live in currently!
