I have realised recently that I was spending most of my time doing things that I didn't enjoy, so I could afford things I didn't need. Now I am trying to simplify my life and work on myself, to enjoy little things in life and appreciate every day.
I want to learn to be more kind, humble and accepting, to be grateful for what I have and not be afraid to fail.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has opened for me a possibility of meeting fascinating people from all corners of the world and walks of life. Sharing life stories and learning about people's experiences, challenges and successes gave me more confidence and boost of positivity.
So far I haven't hosted or surfed yet but I have enjoyed participating in events like cultural and language exchanges in Copenhagen, philosophy club in Aberdeen and dragonboat practice in Budapest. Also a walking tour done by refugees in Denmark was an eye opening experience.

Interests

Reading, travelling, philosophy, history, podcasts, cooking, fitness, nature.
I like trying new things even though it seems scary sometimes :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Laughing hard while listening to my Vietnamese students debate pros and cons of being a vampire :)

Persuaded by a bunch of naughty kids to carry heavy bags of corn to a shed in a remote Burmese village :)

Falling through the clouds with my back to the ground and thinking my life is about to end :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm trying to practice Spanish or learn a little bit of Thai, try new cooking recipes, work on my fitness and learn to appreciate what I have.
I can help with practicing English and Russian. But if you like challenges I can teach you some Lithuanian as well :).
I enjoy sharing my time and energy with others and I find that there's always something to learn even if you haven't realised what just yet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to spend time exploring the city and nature together or sharing life stories over a cup of tea.
I'm always happy to help you practice English or Russian, help with house work or maybe fix your PC or laptop.
Also I'd love to make my version of Mexican chili, Moroccan soup or Indian curry for you :)
