About Me

Currently (as from 7/02/2020):
Hello, me and my friend Sara are visiting some of the Balkan countries. We are hoping to find hosts that want to share about their cities and their cultures. We will rent a car so we could drive us all to a bit more remote places too. Looking forward to meeting you!

My personal description
I like meeting and discussing with new people and I am always happy knowing and discovering new cultures.
I am a scientist more interested in travelling and seeing the world than working at a bench.

I can host near Paris or whenever I am in Belgrade.

I will be away from December 28th to January 4th.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started Couchsurfing in 2011. I had been a guest and a host mostly in Canada and Switzerland. In Fribourg, Switzerland, I discovered the CS community beyond sharing accommodation. This is when I started to use it to meet people in most cities I have visited
Two years ago I traveled from Paris to Kathmandu. CS community was very helpful to get to know people from different cultures.

Interests

I am interested in many topics and I have an open mind. I am actually fan of knowing and sharing people's passion, experience and opinion.
I do love cooking. And learning new recipes, cooking new food, especially from place I have visited.
I practice Yi Quan which is a chinese martial art in which I fell in love a decade ago.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can think of a few inspirational ones.
Siddhartha (Hesse) and Goenka inspired my trip to India and Nepal.
"Les pieds dans le tapis" reminds me of Iran and the cultural differences between French and Iranians.
I will share a secret : I do not necessarily finish a book. I get sometimes more inspiration by letting the ending open, thing I cannot do with movies.
I like all kind of music but have to admit that I am not very much aware of the new stuff...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Part of me won a race of millions.. Being a human being is amazing
