Hey, I'm Ivan Petkov and from Bulgaria. I currently live in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. I love traveling and exploring foreign cultures and that's why I'm last year student at Sofia University studying Arabic and Middle Eastern studies. I am generally interested in the culture of the Middle East (past and present) but besides that, I love exploring other cultures as well such as tribal societies, Buddhist societies and so on. I love getting to know people and their way of life given the fact that every culture leaves its mark on the people that represent it.
I also love doing sports such as swimming, hiking, running, martial arts and so on.
I am fascinated by all type of arts as long as the particular thing connects with the heart.

I love listening to a very diverse range of music types and genres such as: ethno music, trip-hop , chill-out & ambient, reggae, dub, rock, funk. I am very familiar with metal music as well.

I love reading books and especially those who take me to foreign places telling the tales of foreign lands. I am currently into Arabic literature and I could say I love authors such as Zakariya Tamir, at-Tayeb Salih, Khalil Gibran.
