About Me

A belarussian student, learning math and computer science. Like to explore different cultures and places. I always try to find something new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get some local experiance while travelling and share knowlege about my homecountry. I am also not happy with prices for accomodation in most of the countries.

Interests

I'm crazy about travelling. I'm trying to make few trips a year, explore new countries and cities. I also like cycling very much. I usually do it every week, depending on the weather. You may ask me about some interesting routes, to ride on a bicycle in Minsk.

My hobby is speedcubing. I've been into it for several years. I travel to speedcubing competitions pretty often. My dream is to set a national record.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite film is "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" with Til Schweiger. It made a greate influence on me. This film is about life, death and freedom. It's attitude to such important things is the same as mine. That's why I like it so much.

I enjoy punk rock, but I also like different kinds of music. My favourite bands are Blink-182, Green Day, Offspring, Placebo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the Cabo Da Roca - the most western point of Europe by bike. It was a difficult mountain route. First few hours I pedaled uphill with strong wind blowing in my face, so it was super slow. But after I reached the top a downhill started and my bike immediately speeded up to 50 km/h. Riding on such a big speed on a mountain road where a sloppy movement can lead to falling off a cliff and death or at least breaking a few bones was very scaring. Afterall I arrived to the Cabo Da Roca and enjoied one of the most beautiful views in my life. Of course I could just take a bus to go there but it would never be so much fun. So this trip was defenitely worth it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show some good places for cycling in Minsk. If you are not into cyling we can just grab some beers :)

Rubik's cube is my main hobby, so I can teach solving it or show you some tricks if you are already able to do it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring some souvenirs from Belarus.

I'm not scared of housework, so I can help you with anything.

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom
