Hi!

My name is Ivan - I am 33 years old and I live live in downtown Aarhus, Denmark.

The different aspects of CouchSurfing really have caught my interest. Especially how CouchSurfing affect our perceptions of "hospitality" and the possible cultural exchange and interaction that CouchSurfing entails.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To travel, surf, host and get to meet new and interesting people is my main priority.

I joined CS with relation to my studies in eduational anthropology where I conducted an anthropological fieldwork targeting perceptions and practices of "hospitality" in the CouchSurfing network. I finished my final thesis "Sofa Anthropology" in february 2012.

As far goes for my current participation I´m going to surf and host as much as possible.
