About Me
Ivan Charalambous (b. 1984) studied documentary filmmaking in Kenya, Italy and Poland with a European Commission scholarship.
Having maintained connections with news networks and film production companies in Cyprus and internationally, he has collaborated in numerous productions as part of the crew in key positions. Working as a freelancer for most of his life, Ivan has developed an elaborate portfolio including documentaries, corporate videos, narrative films, animations, commercials, infomercials and music videos and has acquired a number of skills in the media, entertainment and news sectors. In August 2014 he was sent to Iraq as key crew member for the American Public Broadcasting Service (PBS Newshour).
"Afterthoughts" is his first short fiction film as a director and has won a number of awards and distinctions
