ABOUT ME

Born on 18 of july in Hong Kong. It is a sad day probably for many Spanish people. On that day, the Spanish civil war broke out brutally. After falling in love with watching spanish football at the age of 15, the course of life has been changed gradually. When I was faced with choosing my major at the uni, I thought of spanish study in the first place. Ever since I know spanish football, I got to understand many other aspects of the country. Then I chose to do the study at the place nearest my hometown Hong Kong, Beijing.

In Beijing, I discovered a new world and a new me. Before studying in Beijing, I didn't travel much out of HK. From there I learned a new way to understand the people and the places. And it is the first time I find that I can do a lot. I tried my many first times, did many which I had not dared or imagined.

Since then I collaborate with various institutes with common interest like writing articles on spanish football, helping at book fair and exhibitions, interpreters at cultural center, sports news agency and spanish governmental organizations.

PHILOSOPHY

Try first before saying no. We develop through unlimited imigination.

I always believe, what others can do you can do too. Vice versa, what you can do others can do too. We should respect each other and believe in each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I started planning my first ever travel out of my country China, I went on to discuss with my friends. One told me couchsurfing was a way to share common ideas about traveling with people around the world. I always agree to the idea of sharing a place (if there is any) with people since life is about sharing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before coming to CS, I did host and surf quite a few times with my close friends. It should be fresh and interesting to do the same with new friends.

Interests

Reading
I have always liked reading though I pay particular attention to subjects like social science (or social affairs you may say)and city studies (which is the focus of my travel). Through reading history, we could experience what people from other places, times and roles, experience. Is it called empathy? We need to understand each other from different background to make the world a better place for human being. I choose reading as my way to do that.

Sports
I was not that sportive not long ago. As for quite different reasons, I start doing strength training. That was not only beneficial physically, but also mentally. That truly helps building all around self confidence. A common feature between running and cycling is explore the city freely. I joined a marathon in Beijing and definitely will join more. I bought a cannondale road bike. That comes with a mountain bike tyre. More comfortable but slower, lol. Now I am eager to practice swimming so as to join trithlon games!

Music
Learning to enjoy western classical music. I particularly enjoy plays by music intruments like piano and violin. Techno is the electronic music, that was directly inspired by a girl that I fancy. You know what it means to me, a common interest.

Movie
Science fiction always helps explore my imigination of the future. Shouldn't we work together for a better future?
