About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work travelling around the world till I find the place I belong to.

27 year old Spanish man here, been in this mad city that London is for the past 6 years. In this time I have worked in hostels mainly, guided one of the biggest pub crawls in London and Europe for over 5 years and learned how to make amazing cocktails and multitask in a beautiful hectic place called Blues Kitchen. About to leave such a city to see what the other side of the world has to offer (Australia). Seems to harsh to be leaving one city and one life to start from scratch in another or so I think so I'm taking a little break to travel a bit of this beautiful world on my way. Would be more than happy to host people in Australia once I'm settled but on the meantime would love if you people can host me in your spare couch, bed, floor, whatever really :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well basicly I signed myself in couch surfing looong time ago cause I was looking for some kind of free accomodation when travelling til I sort of settle in London, I basicly use it as a point to earn some money, save it and travel as much as I can. As I work in a hostel, sometimes potencial guests come asking for prices and find it a bit too expensive to their budget so often find myselg offering the couch/bed in my house to sleep and in exchange of accomodation and tips about the city or tours that I take them on the bike they usually invite me for dinner or some beers and I always thought that it's quite a good deal for it! That way they got to live London like a local with a small budget and also party for free haha

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did couch surfing a few times in my life, and almost always was a great experience. I know its basicly impossible to match everyone's personality and way of life so I understand that sometimes the experience is not so fullfilling as you wish but usually turns out quite good I could say! The best one I had was in Amsterdam and Prague, loved my hosts and I still keep in touch with them, though I gotta say both were reccomended from one of my friends back in spain. And I had one bad experience in Dublin, but I sorted out with a hostel and turned out a great trip so, nothing bad to say about couch surfing at all.

Interests

Ok, well I'm obviously interested in travelling, but I guess that's everyone is right? I enjoy too much visiting new cities and always tried to live it like the locals do, although I do a bunch of touristic stuff, cause, come on, you actually have to do some if you there! I love meeting people from everywhere, that's I work in a hostel where I deal with people from any country in the world. I love movies, tv shows and reading as well, though I don't do it as much as I'd like. What I most love as I said before is travelling with my motorbike and I would like to travel as in the documentary "Long way round" one day, but that's a long way from now haha

Music, Movies, and Books

Bukowski is for sure one of the writers that I have always been hooked on, so good. And Seyda Jane Ermanli, friend of mine from Australia that I find is one of the most talented writers I got the pleasure to meet in me life. Definitely check out her stuff. And Bukowski, he is always a good read. Moviewise, I always loved pirates of the caribbean, is one of the greatest and music I really do like everything, it just depends on the mood :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well if I had to pick one I would have to say skydiving, it was definately one of the most amazing things I've done and I strongly recommend for everyone! I guess another of the best moments in my life were definitely the times riding my motorbike through Europe, and since then I can't stop travelling and riding every chance that I have!
