Overview
About Me
I have been living in Toronto for a little over a year, having moved from Russia. I work remotely as a DevOps engineer and enjoy being able to combine my work with what I love. I have a bachelor's degree in business informatics from one of the best universities in Russia, so I have a long-standing love affair with IT.
In my free time, I enjoy active recreation - I often play tennis, go to the gym. This is a way for me to stay in shape and at the same time meet new people, because I am always happy to meet new people. I am also a real coffee fan - I am constantly looking for interesting coffee shops and just enjoy the moment with a cup of something invigorating.
Traveling is a separate topic! I love discovering new places, cities, countries. For me, this is not just a vacation, but an opportunity to see the world from different sides, get to know new cultures and get a lot of vivid impressions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and discovering the world through their stories. Couchsurfing is a great way to see a place through the eyes of locals, learn something new and expand your social circle. I love to travel, but not just for the beautiful places, but for the people who live there.
I am interested in learning more about different cultures, traditions and lifestyles. I believe that through communication we can better understand the world around us. Plus, it's always nice to share my knowledge of Toronto or wherever I am, offer a cup of coffee and spend time with interesting people.

I am also interested in learning new languages, so I can help with Russian or I will be happy to learn from you. It is always an interesting experience!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am always ready to share interesting stories about my travels and experiences of living in different countries. I can also tell you about what it is like to move from Russia to Canada and adapt to a new culture. If you are interested in something from IT or DevOps, I will be happy to talk about this topic and share useful life hacks.
Besides that, I love to cook, so I can cook something delicious from Russian cuisine or try something new with you. And, of course, if you play tennis or want to try it, let's have a match! And if you like coffee, I will definitely find a cool place where you can enjoy a great drink.
