ABOUT ME

I'm cosmopolitan guy, so I love cities and I try to take advantage of all the things that she can give to me.
Because of this I'm a little bit hyperactive and I have a lot of interests and hobbies when I'm not working.
I work in the Advertising business, creating new forms of communication with the costumers. So I'm always searching and trying to be informed about the new tendencies and what is cool in the moment.
I'm communicative, easygoing, and I have always good mood, so I can adapt easily to any context: I can stay calm to see some movie or to be at home chatting, and I can also have a good time going out and drink some beers.
I love to meet new people all the time, because I think that everyone is world of things that I can learn with.
I have a girlfriend and I live with her and with my dog for a couple of years, in Lisbon in a very cool neighborhood: Bairro Alto!

PHILOSOPHY

I have some kind of a law in my life. It's called the law of 3 Hs! All my friends and people I make good connection right from the start, they have 3 qualities:
- Humanity
- Honesty
- Humility
So I can say that friendship it's my philosophy and the most important thing in my life! Love needs friendship, and for me family, it's only family if you are friend of your father, mother, sister, etc. Blood ties don't matter if there isn't friendship.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had several experiences but not with this Couchsurfing website. I just meet people in my trips, we make friendship and then we try to visit ourselves. I love to couchsurf because its much better to stay in a house of a person that is from that country/city in a way to understand and know more about the city, the people and the idiosyncrasies of the nation where I am. I think this is what is called an open tourist.

Interests

Well I have a lot of interests in my life:
- I love sports, to practice and to see live or in tv. Football, tennis and cycling!
- I'm a cinephile for a long time, so I love to see author and independet movies and movies from different countries. And of course I go a lot to Cinema festivals.
- I love music and I'm a researcher, always searching for new styles and new bands that sounds good to me. I'm very eclectic, so I like almost every style of music. And I'm also an amateur Dj.
- I like theather too. I'm having classes in the last 3 years. 2 years as a clown and the last year I'm learning how to be an actor.
- I like to sometimes go out at night, to some pubs or more rarely to a disco, but what I like most is to be at open air, just talking and drinking some beers.
- And of course I love to travel!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books...I'm addicted to news so I don't have time to read books. I read magazines and newspappers about what is happpening in the world. My favourite its the Courrier International.
Music - as I said I'km eclectic and love too many bands. But I say what I heard more times in my life: Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Otis Redding and Stevie Wonder.
Movies - this is tought too...I have seen more than 1.000 movies! So I can say my favourites directors: Kubrick, Hitchcock, Buster Keaton, Kusturica, Tarantino, Lars Von Trier, Kar Wai Wong and so on...
TV Series: Seinfeld, Breaking Bad, The Big Bang Theory, Monty Python Flying Circus, The twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, House, In Treatment, Weeds, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I think the most cool trip I had in my life was Guca in Serbia! It's the most important festival regarding Balkan Music, the city it's beautiful and the atmosphere is great! I went alone and I made a lot of friends and it was an amazing experience! Music almost 24 hours a day, there is people from all around the world and they are very friendly!
