ABOUT ME

Ivan, Italian, Computer engineer (that sounds really boring but.. IT IS!) and passionate
salsa dancer (It's my Smile maker...)!
I moved in NYC from Italy four years ago... and I just love it!!
But what I miss a lot is the italian lifestyle.. the good taste, good cooking (even if, as per italian tradition, I'm a very good cook..!), a less materialistic approach to life...
I love pets, and the only thing I miss from Italy is Sansone... my 25pounds
tigercat!
There is only one rule in the house... you have to try salsa!!! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I can summarize my philosophy with a very well known phrase... "Follow Your Bliss"!! That's why I'm in NYC!!

Ops.. just moved to Fairfax.. gimme some time to figure something out! :)
What really makes NYC that magic to me it's people..!! People from all over the world, people of all races, people of all religions, all together, sharing the big apple in an amazing harmony.. I like people, and I wanna share my experiences with them, my thoughts, my emotions... that's what life it's mainly about for me... so I believe CouchSurfing can be such a powerful tool..!!

If you're a people person and you still really think it's plenty of nice interesting people you can trust and learn from even if you don't know them yet.. couchsurfing it's just your thing!! and it's my thing too!!

SALSA!!! It's not just dancing.. it's an amazing way to unleash Your passion, share Your emotions, let Your body talk for You... it's just magic..!!

And Travelling it's always a tremendous emotion!! No matter where I go.. the echo in the airport, the rush with the luggages.. I'm ready to go!! and It makes me feel more live than ever..!

Tha movie.. ?!?! Fight Club without any doubt.. I wished I created it...! Best book... Da vinci code.. (I know I know.. real lack of originality but I found it GREAT!!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First day moved from Italy to NYC.. October 31st and I didn't really know about Halloween.. My thought was.. "They told me in NYC people are crazy but that's insane!!". I felt very stupid eventually when I figure it out!! :)

First trip to Culebra, PR.. Very small airplane and landed in between two mountains.. Breathtaking experience..

And how about my first Couchsurfing experience?!? I really didn't know much about it and I was so excited and happy to know there is such a thing!

Teach, Learn, Share

since I'm a computer engineer I don't suggest anyone to go in vacation and learn boring IT stuff!!
But I can teach italian cooking and salsa dancing (that's better!!!)
