Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am shy, quiet and introvert person. Nevertheless, I'm trying to cross those barriers and get out from my comfortable zone. I want to experience something new, to meet new people, to see new places. I want to evolve, move, learn, see and hear. (And find many geocaches!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am great lover of theatre. I listen to the opera (yeah, really), I read plays, I watch film adaptations. Theatre is my heartbeat.

Together with opera I love classical music and rock (from 60's to 80's, progressive, psychedelic, space rock). Also I can enjoy metal, soundtracks, classical jazz, celtic, musicals... I'm trying to play a guitar and ukulele. There is always some music playing in my room, there is always me singing along.

It would be easier to say what I don't like in film and literature: horrors and thrillers. I rather enjoy good clever humour. I always laugh watching Monty Pythons, Black Adder, Fry & Laurie, Red Dwarf, Yes minister, IT Crowd, Vicious. And there is more from czech humour I could introduce to you!
You can also find some books of Terry Pratchett and Douglas Addams in my library. They are connecting my other favourite gender: fantasy and sci-fi. My favourite stories are Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Harry Potter and Narnia. I could talk hours about these.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one amazing thing, I've done, is my time spent in London. I lived there for one year and it became a place close to my heart. I found there few great friends. I improved my english. I enjoyed the cultural life in theatres, museums, galleries, streets and pubs. I visited many places in city and country. I found many geocaches. I met many interesting people. But above all - I changed there.
My year in London was a start to other important things in my life. And that's why it is so "amazing thing I've done" for me.
