Overview
About Me
I am kind of a daydreamer, constantly balancing on the blurred line between dreams and reality.
I enjoy bustling life of the city as well as the silence of the woods.
I love being surrounded by people, but from time to time I need to feel nothing but my very own existence.
I work at a small, beautiful and a bit bizarre Café Tungsram, once you´re in Brno, you have to visit this place.
I have a serious problem with my time management, I am always late and miss all the possible deadlines.
Love to party, love to read books, love to listen to music, love to travel, love to laugh)))
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to travel more than I used to, the best way to explore the right corners and coffee shops of the city is with its inhabitants! And since I´m a student, it´s always nice to save some money on accommodation and rather meet some new people above a glass of wine or a beer, huh?
Interests
Lots of things make me happy - fresh air, sunny day, good book, excellent music, lazy day, warm and passionate people, coffee, party, cooking, nights out or just staring at the sky.
Usually I carry some old camera with me, Olympus or Praktica, I love to take pictures the old fashioned way.
Music festivals, always.
Music, Movies, and Books
I´m very passionate about music, I can appreciate almost any kind of indie, rock, folk, noise, electro and techno music. Starting with Radiohead or Devendra Bahnart and ending with the tons of electro music playlists on SoundCloud.
Almost any film or book, it´s really hard to say a favorite one. Jim Jarmusch´s Only lovers left alive was pretty good, books by czech writer Milan Kundera.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Working in the café (particularly that one, it´s funny how easily your workmates can become your family).
Studying and living in Spain.
From time to time I write articles (usually event reports) for czech music magazine called FullMoon. It has always been my dream.
Attending Creepy Teepee (independent/alternative electro music festival in the Czech republic). I´ve never experienced such an atmosphere, those four days were the highlight of my year. Totally worth going
But you know, it is small things that matter, you don´t have to be a superhero.
