I love traveling. I feel like I'd go crazy if I don't travel or at least plan for a bigger trip for more than a month after the last one.
So far I've only been in Europe, but this summer I will be going to Rio for the Olympics, where I will make a few of my childhood dreams come true - I will work as a volunteer in the Games, I will visit Rio and I will visit Brasilia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people from around the world and learning about their cultures and their languages.
I still haven't started with Couchsurfing, because most of the time either the friends I traveled with chose some other type of accommodation, or, I have visited friends or stayed with friends of friends when visiting a new place.
I like visiting with locals, because I believe that it is the best way to really see a city and learn about a culture.

Interests

I love visiting museums, going to the theater, opera, ballet. I like wandering in new cities and discovering hidden gems most travelers don't know about. I like photography - so far I only stick to instagram, my most common themes in the photographs are architecture and street art, mixed with some nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many styles of music, I somehow prefer female vocals to male ones. I don't have favorite bands or artists, but I like listening to Amy Winehose, Adele, Florence and the Machine, Morrissey, Muse, Moby, some jazz and blues, Brit pop from the '90ties, David Bowie and many local musicians from the Balkans.
My all time favorite book is the Little Prince. I've read it at least a dozen times, and I will keep rereading it, because every time I read it I find another way to interpret it and relate to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hope that being part of the volunteers for the Olympics in Rio 2016 will become the One Amazing thing.
