About Me

I am an outgoing person who loves hanging out with people from different cultures. I love animals, people, and just having a good time in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people with wanderlust. I would like one day to travel to all the destinations I have in mind, and Couchsurfing offers the opportunity for everyone to do exactly that. I have lived in Berlin, and in Florida, but for now I am settled in Zagreb, working as a freelance translator from home, but I love experiencing my hometown through the eyes of travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I am a singer in an indie rock band and I love listening to different music genres. It's all about the band and the kind of music they make, not about the genre and labels.
I don't have favorite movies and books because, just like with music, I am open to all suggestions, but some of my favorite movies include "Little Miss Sunshine", "Pacific Rim", "The Usual Suspects", "Fantastic Mr. Fox", "Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail", "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", and "Her". Some of my favorite books are "The Great Gatsby", "Neuromancer", "The Wizard of Oz", "The Little Prince", "The Color Purple", and "Left Hand of Darkness".

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook, knit, crochet, translate, and find the best value for your money in Zagreb. Also, I am multi-lingual, so we can practice our language skills, and my friends are mostly multi-lingual, and I can invite them over to hang out with us.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My apartment is in downtown Zagreb, close to all important landmarks and places. I can share a sofa for one person, a cozy carpet for another person with a sleeping bag, food, bathroom, toilet and a companion for experiencing the city and for exchanging travel and life experiences.
