About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just moved to Copenhagen - I want to see what this city has to offer.

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as being an outgoing person. I really enjoy meeting people from all around the world, even if it is for a short cup of coffee. I love music (and there's a wide range of genres I'm open to - from classical - baroque, romantic - to the 80s-90s rock scene - I am still true to my adolescent hardcore phase - also true to my university music tastes, such as indie-folk rock and old french songs - Trenet, Montand, Barbara, Aznavour, Brel etc. from the 40s-60s - within the last couple of years I've turned to this ecclectic electronic scene) I really love going to concerts or festivals. Im looking forward to going to Werchter, Glastonbury, Rock en Seine, Sonar and why not Coachella and Burning Man some day. I haven't couchsurfed a lot, 2-3 times, but I have hosted more than I've surfed. My travels were and are all about wandering the streets (I mostly enjoy traveling during autumn and winter) and meeting the locals, although I am a bit shy at first.
I am an imgurian ("one of us, one of us, one of us")

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting, guiding, chatting, having some laughs.
I've been a couchsurfer for almost 6 years now. In the last 2 years, my participation was scarce. I had to work a lot on my career. Now that everything's balanced I would like to make up for the lost time and start travelling.

Interests

What I have in mind is not that...sight-seeing thing. I like wandering around and when Im in a foreign country I like to (and I know this sounds weird) pretend I've lived there all my life. So if Im in a city for 2 days, I just wanna do regular stuff.

I do have some pet peeves about CS: I really do not enjoy looking at CS as just a way of looking for free accommodation or hooking up, so I really dont appreciate people hinting at that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too MANY MOVIES..too much music, too many books I love.
Last book I've read Murakami-Kafka on the shore.
Last song I've listened to Radiohead - Motion Picture Sountrack
Last movie I've watched - I Origins

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What stuck to me even today was when I was wondering in a library in Toulouse and i randomly opened a magazine and saw a text "je me sens libre ici" It couldn't have been more true.
And another mesmerizing moment was when I was walking with a friend from Paris, in the Trastevere of Rome, at 10 PM, the streets were empty - it was like a fairytale - the streets were empty and we could only hear our footsteps.
So, no... I haven't climbed a mountain, I havent hitchhiked in Indonesia. So I dont have extraordinary stories...

Teach, Learn, Share

I would Teach and Share everything I know and am. And I hope to Learn the same thing from my Teachers :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some laughs and talks. I could cook...? If... it's necessary, I don't mind, but I don't know any romanian dishes since I'm not really fond of romanian food. People say I make great omlettes and soups.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Italy, Malta, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Denmark, Romania
