About Me
Hello! I'm an Indonesian native who now calls Stockholm home. Since I made this life-changing move, I have embraced the beauty of diversity, which has ignited my passion for travel and cultural exploration.
I've always been an ardent fan of voyages, be it a short countryside trip or an exciting overseas adventure. For me, each journey is a new chapter in my life, filled with new cities to explore, new cultures to appreciate, and of course, new friendships to form.
People often describe me as friendly, a label I proudly wear. But beyond being friendly, I firmly believe in the principle of treating others as I wish to be treated. It's a simple philosophy, but it has shaped my interactions with people from all walks of life. In essence, I believe that karma does exist!
My hope in joining the Couchsurfing community is to meet fascinating people from around the world and to share our stories. The world is vast, and there is so much to learn from each other. So, if you ever find yourself in Stockholm, don't hesitate to get in touch! I'd love to show you around the city that I've come to love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here on Couchsurfing because I believe in the profound connections and genuine experiences it offers. Yes, I could stay in a hotel or hostel while exploring new cities, but then I'd miss out on the invaluable opportunities to meet and engage with the locals, who are the heart and soul of every place.
Through Couchsurfing, I can learn about the history and interesting facts of each city directly from those who know it best. I can hear personal stories that are far more enlightening than any travel guide, and gain insights into the local culture and way of life that would otherwise remain hidden.
Moreover, I relish the chance to reciprocate this experience for travelers visiting my city of Stockholm. I take pride in sharing my knowledge of its rich history and vibrant culture, and in helping visitors see the city through a local's lens.
Indeed, they say making friends can be harder than making enemies, but I'm here to defy that saying. I see every new connection as a bridge across cultures and countries, a chance to enrich each other's lives and broaden our horizons.
So whether you're a fellow traveler or a Stockholm visitor, I'm looking forward to connecting with you, learning from you, and creating a friendship that traverses geographical boundaries.
Interests
At heart, I'm a storyteller. I have found social media to be an incredible platform to share the tapestry of my experiences. My favorite apps are Instagram and Facebook, where I love capturing and sharing the fleeting moments that life offers us - from majestic landscapes to quiet, intimate scenes - all because I know these moments will never return.
Photography and videography go hand in hand with this passion. Through my lens, I strive to freeze time and space, to capture the essence of a place or a moment. I find joy in framing life's nuances and showcasing them to the world, a practice that has made my travels even more rewarding.
When it comes to food, I am always excited to explore local cuisines, sampling the unique flavors that every region has to offer. I believe food is a vital part of any culture, and it's something I look forward to experiencing wherever I go (as long as it's not pork).
In all my interests, the common thread is connection - to places, to moments, and most importantly, to people. Whether through a picture, a post, or a meal, I am always seeking ways to connect and share experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste might be considered a bit nostalgic by some as I have a soft spot for the pop tunes of the 80s and 90s. There's something about the rhythm and melodies from those eras that resonate with me. Hard metal music, however, is not my cup of tea - it seems to be more dizzying than delightful for my ears.
When it comes to movies, I'm captivated by thrillers and mysteries, genres that make me think and keep me on the edge of my seat. I'm also partial to a good comedy; a dose of laughter is always a good way to brighten the day. Drama Romance films, though popular with many, aren't my go-to choice for a movie night.
As for books, well, here's a confession: I'm a big manga fan! I find the creativity, artwork, and storytelling in these Japanese comics absolutely fascinating and enjoyable. It's a form of reading that has hooked me since my first encounter, and my love for manga just keeps growing.
