Hey! I’m Iván from Mexico 🇲🇽

I’ve been traveling solo for the past 8 months, backpacking from France all the way to Vietnam. I usually travel by hitchhiking and camp whenever possible, which has taught me to be flexible, respectful, and very appreciative of the people who open their homes and lives to me.

This year I tried Couchsurfing for the first time, and it quickly became one of the most meaningful parts of my journey. I’ve made genuine connections and experienced daily life from a local perspective something I truly value and respect as a guest, this made me realize how lucky I am to find friendship and kindness everywhere I go.

I speak Spanish (Mexican Spanish 😄) and I’m fairly fluent in English (sometimes I need a moment to organize my thoughts). I’m also learning some Turkish and speak a little French.

I love meaningful conversations, listening to people’s stories, and sharing experiences. I’m calm, open-minded, tidy, and always respectful of house rules and personal space.

I also enjoy hitchhiking and camping for the freedom and spontaneity they bring, and I love nature in all its forms. I’m comfortable with and enjoy nudism/naturism in respectful and appropriate spaces, always with clear communication and mutual consent.

I truly believe you can learn something from every person you meet. Connecting with people from different parts of the world keeps opening my mind and helping me grow.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m more than happy to help with daily tasks around the house, especially cleaning and keeping shared spaces tidy. I truly believe being a guest also means contributing and taking care of the place I’m welcomed into.

I enjoy cooking together and sharing simple meals (and I’m always happy to help in the kitchen). I can also offer language exchange in Spanish.

I’m always up for sharing travel, hitchhiking, and camping stories, as well as good conversations and laughs. If you enjoy nature, spontaneous plans, or just meaningful chats at home, I’m sure we’ll get along well.
