Overview
About Me
Russian, raised in America, studied in Scotland, doing my PhD in developmental psychology (how kids learn and develop new concepts, cross-cultural cognition and similar). Generally very interested in science of any kind.
Primary hobbies include reading, travel, sport, sitting and thinking about life (alone, together, over drinks, whatever).
Generally very easygoing, up for a chat about life the universe and everything (or the weather, or languages or music etc.)
Been to a fair few countries, at ease with being outside my cultural comfort zone (not sure I necessarily had one growing up as a third culture kids). Some people may be assholes but all peoples are excellent.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I mean, this is excellent.
People are awesome, I tend to get on with them and have a good time. Always enjoy making new connections in excellent places.
Cultural/intellectual/libationary exchange leaves us all the richer. So basically I figure this is a get-rich-for-free scheme.
