Creative, talkative, like reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends. Now I'm doing my PhD in Biotechnology and Bioengineering in EPFL, Switzerland. Before that I've had a great time studying physics and mathematics in Moscow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to India on a real Indian wedding (lasted four days!!) of my PhD colleagues, after that I've travelled partly alone around, and have met a lot of new friends. I never knew that Indian culture is so accepting and friendly :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I literally love teaching and learning (one of the reasons I'm doing a PhD, btw..), though I think that a lot of things in life person should try by oneself, no impression can be properly conveyed through just photos in Instagram (that's why I haven't one).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I lOOOve cooking, but I've no idea of recipes, and so if you would like to share with me one of your grandmother's secret dishes, I would love to help cooking that!

I can always share my Russian view on the way the world is around us -- after having lived in Switzerland and as my brother lives in the US, my perspective goes well beyond the Iron Wall that many still have. I love talking about books and poetry, about cinema and theatre, about food and religion. I know a good deal about academic career and what / how to do stuff after PhD (yes, there is indeed life after a PhD..)
