Why I’m on Couchsurfing

'Cause I'm eager to know how people live, what they think, what they eat and what they talk about in different parts of the world. I'm also an advocate of unconventional travels aiming to penetrate into national mentality and people's psycology through the knowledge of their everyday life, instead of wasting time on all-alike tourist attractions.
I believe Couchsurfing is a good help in it, aside from the possibility to save money on regular accomodation or the pleasure to easily make new friends and to show them some of your country.

Arts (especially cinema and literature), talking with people, traveling by hitchhiking, hiking and sleeping under the stars, being alone among beautiful nature, swimming in the sea, lakes or rivers...

Music, Movies, and Books

There are dozens of films and books I like, and it's always hard for me to point out which are my favorite. I would definitely name Alain Resnais and Anton Chekhov among the greatest, by they're certainly not the only ones :)
As for music, I'm not really a big connoisseur or fan of anything. There are things that I like though, like some classical ot jazz melodies. But I'm definitely not the person to discuss popular modern music or signers with)
