About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to explore as much as possible, meet amazing travelers and share the beauty of the world with like-minded people

ABOUT ME

I am a 27 years old graduate of European Affairs. After my graduation I started a tie + suit every day job but I still keep to my roots and take every possible moment to dress down and explore. I have lived in and visited quite a few countries in Europe and Asia as well as a few road trips around the USA, love exploring new places. More of a city person, but trips in the mountains/sea are also favorites. Meeting new people has always excited me.

PHILOSOPHY

"the only way to make the path bigger is by stepping out of it"

challenging your own beliefs and understanding is always worth it - makes me better understand what i actually stand for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im no longer new to CS (been on here since 2010 - sometimes more active than other times...) as so far I managed to host and to surf, which were all really great experiences. Also met some really cool people through CS and hopefully that list will keep expanding! CS has been a great inspiration to explore further

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

GREAT :) - had the best possible surfing experiences while driving along the Pacific coast highway in California. I have also hosted a few surfers in Bruges and London, all of whom were great people.

Interests

Current affairs really interest me. Mostly though, what fascinates me is the different viewpoints that the same events are presented through.

Otherwise, all kind of sports that do not require to be inside. Love mountain biking, snowboarding, scuba diving, hiking.

I also love making maps and planning trips - any free minute I get in front of a computer is spent looking at trips and places to visit :D

Music, Movies, and Books

many, but music - mainly electronic. however, quite open minded and ready to listen to all (well, with some limitation hah). depends a lot on the group of people I am with and the atmosphere.

as far as books, I am happy to not have to read any uni-related books any more so Ive started re-reading all the classics that I should have read in high school. Enjoy mostly novels but there are always some exceptions

Im not much of a TV person (havent had a TV in any of my houses for more than 8 years now) but I do watch some TV shows: Broad City, Orphan Black, VEEP and sometimes rewatch some favourite episodes from Weeds, Community and Parks and Recs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

there have been quite a few and i do have an issue with "the most sth" classification. Flying a plane would def be one (even though I was a bit too young to remember). Paragliding and skydiving are also on the list. traveling around and exploring the world is certainly on top of the amazing things I have done

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Macedonia, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
