About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travelling, meeting new people, practising sports in nature, being involved in cultural organizations...
My current life mission is learning to love in the correct way.
ABOUT ME
I'm a cheerful person who likes living new experiences and meeting interesting people from all over the world. I'm open minded and I'm really interested in knowing cultures and traditions from different countries.I love nature, so practising any sport to be in contact with it is welcome. I prefer swimming, cycling and hiking. I'm in involved in several cultural organitzations in my hometown: carnival, giants, caramelles and all this stuff. Why? I simply love working to improve my community through social and cultural activities. I also love "castellers". Are you curious about this Catalan activity? Look at my pictures or click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iSHfrmGdyo. The activity is catalogued as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO .

PHILOSOPHY
Difficult to resume. But maybe this can describe me:
my only goal is living a happy life while trying to leave the world better than when I arrived. I just follow the FLOW. I like to feel how life and circumstances surprise me every day and create new opportunities for me, while I just need to choose the ones who fit the best who I am (or I think I am, as I'm always learning about me!)
I also think that sharing experiences and meeting new people is the clue to many things, like happiness. And I love to say that SHARING IS CARING!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By now, I have been hosting, hanging out, or having a meal with some CS travellers in Barcelona. I've also travelled through Europe, and met some people who is in CouchSurfing by chance, but I have never used CouchSurfing request to travel. I'll do it soon :)
I live in my hometown, Solsona, but if you wanna know me, or let me guide you, just send me a request! We can meet in Barcelona or somewhere else. Sometimes I'm busy, and I can't help you, but I'll do my best for all of you!If you want you can download this Barcelona Survival Guide I wrote in this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/afyvpiiek27m7xt/SurvivalGuide_CS.pdf?dl=0
Feel free to share it!!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Only one word: AMAZING! During February 2011 I met a couchsurfer from Germany who was a software deveolper for Iphone. He came to Barcelona to attend the Mobile World Congress. And he invited me to the congress! I learnt a lot there thanks to him. And all this experience began with a CS request! That's the power of CS!
Interests
I'm fan of nature, fanthastic landmarks and beatiful, relaxing places. I like everything related to new technologies and specially stuff like social networks or international communities such as CS, Wikipedia or Geocaching.com (a global high-tech treasure hunting game played with GPS)
I'm also interested in cultures and traditions from all over the world. That's why I was really active in BEST (Board of European Students of Technology). I'm alumni right now, but I still keep in contact with international friends I made there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
8th March 2010. That day snow covered all Barcelona city. And I felt like a 5 year child again. Riding a bike around the streets and playing with snow in the beach. It was a LEGENDARY day!!!
Also climbing mountains in the Pyrenees. Only about 3000m high, but I'll never forget what you see up there. I really recommend this to everyone!
And what about night cycling trips? In a group or alone. Seeing nature at night in complete silence is one of the most amazing experiences in my life.
24th September 2011. I helped building my first human tower. It was 9 floors high. And it was a UNIQUE experience!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about coding, computers, IT, maths at university level, Catalan and Spanish languages.
I'll be really happy to tell you about culture and folklore in Catalunya (human towers, giants, dances), and also show you our festivities, songs or dancings. And preparing some typicall Spanish and Catalan meals too :)))
I can teach you how to improve your swimming techniques.
I can also show you beatiful and amazing places in the Pyrenees, in Barcelona city or in other little towns and villages, different from the most touristic waypoints. You can see some of them in my photos. And be sure it's no problem for me to visit them again and again, everytime with different couchsurfers.
I would like to learn about facts in your country and culture. And share knowledge about your fields of study/work. I don't care about what. I like to know a little bit about everything to understand people and the world better!
