Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I was not born in the US but have lived there for may years. I suspect that the experience of living two countries has made me want to connect internationally, thus I am here on CS. I have done a good amount of hosting and have hosted CS meetups in Denver.

Intereses

I've been trying to get good at sailing. I enjoy nature and outdoor sports, producing tangible things, such as things made out of wood or pickles. While I live in the city I spend most of my weekends in the mountains, beach or a wood shop.

I prefer to watch "artsy" movies and try not to watch Hollywood stuff. Directors like Bela Tarr, Tarkovsky and Herzog really do it for me.

I tried hiking up the Chimborazo volcano in Ecuador only to find that altitude sickness is no joke, but the experience was worth it.
