ABOUT ME

There's too much. Ask. Oh, I like biking and eating. I am a foodie and willing to try most things at least once. I went to Paris in December and really wanted to try escargot but by the time I made up my mind it was too late. Same thing happened when I wanted to eat gator down in FL, which I did and it was tasty :). Now I just need to get escargot and other foods into my belly over the next few years. Other questions please do ask :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can ride bikes with people, go on hikes, show you my neighbouring city ... it's tiny but you might have heard of it - NYC, as well as NJ. We aren't as cool as NY but we have some must see places. And most importantly I can eat with anyone. Come join me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend, Martin, told me he's met some really cool people through CS and got me interested. And through the few trips I've taken using this and reading up on forums and groups I have gotten more involved when I can. This is a great little community and I tell people about it all the time. It's really one of the best ways to travel and really see the world.

I now tell all my friends to get on it and some actually do and thank me for it.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Every movie type minus horror. Music, anything but heavy metal or screamo, but my favourite is good ol' country music. Books - anything I can read that doesn't have too many big words (this is a joke of course). I like murder mysteries that aren't gory and fantasy books, i.e Harry Potter, Eragon things like this.

I've done a lot of amazing stuff.

Most recent: Went to Paris for the COP21 conference. First time out of the US and it was a great adventure. And I become an Al Gore Climate Reality Leader in 2015 in Miami. What was great about this is that he did the training the whole weekend.

Saw the Dalai Lama at the Newark Peace Conference from 50 feet away - and he waved at me!

Most exciting: Performed for Obama and Corzine with my Chinese Lion Dance troupe.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach people where there's good food to eat, where to bike, how to make corny jokes and how to enjoy their stay in the NJ Metro/NYC area. NJ is cool when people give it a real look at. But no lie NYC is always popping.
