Overview
About Me
I travel; write stories, lyrics, articles, film reviews; play the guitar and compose music; teach English; do some of the free tours we have here in Sofia; read; make friends; dream of a different world; experience new stuff; change myself and maybe some of the people around me... there are so many things and everything's being done in an unsatisfactory way, but, in the same time, I can't give up anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been considering taking this step for the last year or two. I know it sounds strange for someone who loves traveling so much to be so late with creating his couchsurfing account, but I guess I had to fight some of my stupid prejudices. For the last 3 months I've been working for Sofia Green Tour and I met some quite nice couchsurfers. I think getting to know this kind of people helps. And, of course, I'm planning some trips and having the possibility of staying at someone's place would come in hand.
Btw, I'm not from Sofia, but live here. It's just the way CS profile information is structured makes me choose the capital as a location and not my hometown, Gabrovo.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I prefer metal and rock music - Killswitch engage, Marilyn Manson, Immortal, Queen, August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, Korn and many more; I also enjoy folklore/ambient bands like Isihia, Irfan, Kayno Yesno Slonce; or classical music - Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy.
Movies - La vita e bella (1997), V for Vendetta (2005), Kingdom of heaven (2005), Beautiful mind (2001), Revolver (2005), The Matrix (1999), Gladiator (2000); but also short films - Mouse-X, The Gloaming, The Piano Tuner.
Books - "The Anatomy of Human Destructiveness" and "The Sane Society" by Erich Fromm, "We" by Evgeny Zamyatin, "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley, "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury, "The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail" by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln, the poetry of Geo Milev and Atanas Dalchev, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Mt. Toubkal (4167 m) alone, during the night/morning, in a snowstorm, armed with my bicycle torch, a pair of trainers and a very light jacket.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you English to some extent and very little Russian; of course, apparently Bulgarian is also an option, although not the most popular of languages.
I've traveled all the Balkan countries and usually tend to flood people with advice on their trips around this part of Europe. Of course, normally, when I go abroad I do a decent research, so I can share my knowledge about all the countries I've been to.
Although a not so good musician, I can teach you a thing or two if you want to learn how to play the guitar.
The thing I'm probably doing best is thinking, discussing and being critical. So if you're into discussions - I guess we can enrich each other :)
