Overview
About Me
I'm a positive and open-minded person, that likes to travel and meet interesting people. Although I’m not very extreme person, I like to try new things and push my limits. I’m always up for adventure.
I believe that good communication is the key to all relationships. My friends can describe me as a kind and considerate person, very friendly and easy to communicate with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While I was a student I was constantly searching for opportunities to travel – I went on Work and Travel in USA, did an Erasmus semester in Denmark, had an AIESEC internship in Germany, participated in a project in Mexico, and so on and so forth. I’m no longer a student, but I still feel the need to explore different places, cultures, way of life. As a working man, sadly I don’t have the time for big scale projects as before, but there are other opportunities that I’m looking into. One such opportunity is Couchsurfing. I see it not just as a possibility for money saving, but more as a way for connecting to the destination of travel. Who if not the locals can teach you about the place that your visiting, give you hints for great opportunities and share their culture with you? And wouldn’t you as a host share your experience, advice and hospitality to your guests. Couchsuring is a great platform to connect to interesting people worldwide and enhance your trip as if you were visiting a friend.
Interests
Most of all I’m interested in travelling. My first trip abroad was at the age of 17 and since then I’m addicted. I love exploring different cultures, food, traditions. When I plan my travel to a new country the first web-site I check is for the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. I’m interested in the history of the countries and love to roam around castles, ruins and even narrow cobble streets. Generally I’m also interested in the geopolitical situation and religion of the countries I’m visiting.
And since every traveler collects something from his/her trips, my collectible item is a small bottle of local alcohol (50 ml) from the countries I've visited.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to mainly to Pop/Dance music, but also like Latino and Hip-Hop. For a little while I was learning salsa, so I'll be glad if I can practice with some of my hosts. Sadly I cannot play any musical instrument but I very much enjoy improvised open-air parties where somebody plays the guitar and the whole group sings along.
Depending on my mood I watch a wide variety of movies – from comedies and action movies, to Sci-Fi and thrillers. For me a good plot is the most important thing in a movie.
To be honest, I prefer light literature that calms me down and helps me clear my mind. Some of my favorite authors are Alexandre Dumas and Dan Brown. Also I read books from local Bulgarian authors.
