I'm peruvian, currently doing a PhD in Public Health in Brazil. I'm a clinical-community psychologist, psychotherapist, university professor. I love traveling, nature, music, photography. I know that diversity exists, and I adapt very well to others to be able to know and understand the reason of things and avoid judging them. I identify myself with the phrase "be the change you want to see in the world".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm very interested in cultural exchange to expand my geographical, emotional and mental horizons. I love talking and make genuine connections (even if they're temporary), so I'd like to spend time with my host or guest (and other CS traveleres) when possible, to get to know each other a bit, and each other's culture (after all, that's the main purpose of Couchsurfing, isn't it?)

Me interesa el intercambio cultural para ampliar mis horizontes geográficos, emocionales y mentales. Me encanta hablar y hacer conexiones genuinas (incluso si son temporales), por lo que me gustaría pasar tiempo con mi host o huesped (y otros viajeros de CS) cuando sea posible, para conocernos un poco y conocer la cultura uno del otro (después de todo, ese es el objetivo principal de Couchsurfing, ¿no?)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music in general. I played some instruments in my childhood and adolescence. I listen to diverse music genres, it depends on my mood (I can listen reggaeton, classical music, EDM, rock, pop, salsa, jazz, indie, etc etc.). I also enjoy listening to new music, so if you send me a song that I don't know yet, don't doubt that I'll really make time to listen to it carefully ;)

Me encanta la música en general. Toqué algunos instrumentos en mi infancia y adolescencia. Escucho diversos géneros musicales, todo depende de mi estado de ánimo (puedo escuchar reggaeton, música clásica, EDM, rock, pop, salsa, jazz, indie, etc etc.). También disfruto mucho escuchar música nueva, así que si me mandas una canción que aún no conozco, no dudes que realmente haré un espacio para escucharla con atención ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 3-month solo backpacking at the peruvian Andes, Bolivia, and Brazil, that ended right before "March 2020".
Another incredible thing is that I'm self-taught trilingual (I learned English and Portuguese by myself), and I really want to learn other languages.

Un mochileo sola por 3 meses por los Andes peruanos, Bolivia, y Brasil, que terminó justo antes de "marzo 2020".
Otra cosa increíble es que soy trilingue autodidacta (aprendí sola inglés y portugués), y realmente quiero seguir aprendiendo más idiomas.
