ABOUT ME

I over 30 year old swiss girl of croatian descent. I grew up in the town of winterthur and then studied in Zurich and in Leuven, Belgium. Later I worked for different companies in Switzerland. Right now I'm on a career break and I want use this opportunity to travel arround the world, from Argentina, Peru to Canada, the US, Fiji, NZ, Australia and finally Asia.

I'd like to use the opportunity CS offers me to get to know locals and to find out more about their views and the places/countries they are living in. As I am travelling right now I'm not offering a couch my self, because I'm obviously not carrying one with me, but of course I'll be happy to accomodate everyone wherever I might turn up after my trip...

Interests

I like watching movies a lot. I recently attended a salsa course and I like dancing a lot. Sometimes you find me at an art exhibition. I am not a big sports buff, but I like snowboarding, swimming, pilates, and badminton... otherwise there's also reading, talking, meeting other people, eating, and enjoying life...

Music, Movies, and Books

As I just mentionned I like watching movies a lot. There are not many I have not seen (except everything with vampires in it). My personal favorites are léon - the professional, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill...

I listen to everything from plain pop music to hiphop, reggae, ragga, and latin. As long as it has quality.

I also like reading... it's hard to mention a favorite. I read everyting that comes within my reach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think my decision to embark on this trip will replace the other experiences I had.
I've done some travelling. Mostly in Europe but also to Costa Rica, North Africa, India and the US. Also my Erasmus exchange to Belgium was quite an incredible experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

well, perhaps the most important thing I can teach is about my background and where I come from. My culture.

But I also speak several languages like english, german, croatian, and maybe french...
After my stay in latin america I'll hopefully be able to speak some spanish.
