ABOUT ME

Soy una persona con una mente muy abierta, adaptable, amistoso, bastante extrovertido y me considero un tipo muy aventurero. Soy una persona muy fácil de llevar, y realmente me llevo muy bien con diferente tipo de personas. Realmente disfruto mucho aprender todo lo que más puedo de las personas, lo que sea. Siempre estoy dispuesto a aprender cosas nuevas; y también disfruto compartir las experiencias de mi vida con las personas que conozco.
Trato de ver y explorar el mundo mientras trabajo a bordo de líneas de cruceros como Asistente de Ventas en las Tiendas a bordo libres de impuesto-Duty Free Shops-).(Cruceros Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Disney). También disfruto mucho conocer nuevas personas, entablar nuevas amistades, comer y compartir buenas comidas, y experimentar diferentes culturas, formas de pensar, de vivir, nuevos idiomas y costumbres. Además, me gustaria poder conocer y explorar cada rincón, de ser posible, de mi maravilloso país: ARGENTINA. Al cual considero un lindo país, con unos increíbles contrastes geográficos, tales como lagos, coloridas cadenas montañosas, glaciares, cataratas, salinas, entre otras bellezas naturales; al igual que personas amistosas y simpáticas.
No soy sólo argentino, también soy italiano (- italiano por parte materna y suizo-alemán por parte paterna-). Tengo la ciudadanía italiana y también porto pasaporte italiano. Hablo bastante bien el dioma italiano pero alemán no lo hablo en absoluto.

I am a very open minded person, adaptable, friendly, quite outgoing and I consider myself a very adventurous guy. I'm a really easy going person. I get along really well with different kinds of people. I do enjoy learning as much as possible from people, anything. I'm always up for learning new things; and I also enjoy sharing also the experiences of my life with everyone I meet. .
I try to see and explore the world while working on a cruise ship as a Merchandise Host/Sales Assistant on Cruise Lines, ( Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Disney). I also enjoy meeting new people, start new friendships, eat and share some great food and experience different cultures, way of thinking, way of living, new languages and customs. Beyond that, I would like to get to know and explore every corner, if possible, of my wonderful homeland: ARGENTINA. Which I consider a nice country, with amazing geographical contrasts like lakes, colorful chain of mountains, glaciers, waterfalls, salt lands, among other natural beauties; and nice and friendly people as well.
I am not only an Argentinian, also I'm Italian (from Italian mother side ( -from Switzerland and Germany on Italian father side-). I have the Italian citizenship and passport as well. I speak Italian quite well but not German at all.

Filosofía de vida /Philosophy of life

No hay que estresarse tanto.
Esta es mi vida. Hago lo que me gusta, y lo hago a menudo, de ser posible. Si no me gusta algo, no lo hago, o sólo cambio la manera de hacerlo. La vida es simple. Cuando como, trato de valorar y disfrutar de cada bocado. Trato de viajar a menudo, porque me da una sensación the libertad absoluta. La vida se trata también de la gente que conozco, que se cruza en mi camino y de las cosas que creo junto a esas personas, por eso, salgo y comienzo a crearlas. La vida es un sueño corto y me encanta ser capaz de compartir mi sueño con otros seres humanos.

Don't stress that much.
This is your life. Do what you love, and do it often if possible. If I don't like something, I do not do it, or I just change the way I do it. Life is simple. When I eat, I try to appreciate every last bite. I try to travel often because that gives me an unique freedom. Life is also about the people I meet, and the things I create with them; so I go out and start creating. Life is a short dream and I love be able to share my dream with other human beings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Estoy en Couchsurfing porque me encanta compartir mi vida con gente de cualquier sitio de mi país y de todo el mundo. Somos todos seres distintos y las diferencias las encuentro super interesantes para aprender, para saber que podemos ver la misma cosa, sitio o persona con diferentes perspectivas. Considero que Couchsurfing es la oportunidad perfecta para poder hacerlo. Me apasiona también escuchar experiencias nuevas y diferentes de vida de otras personas, quizás, llevando una vida totalmente diferente a la mía. Aprendo muchísimo de ello, y en realidad creo que ese es el verdadero espíritu de vivir sobre este Planeta: APRENDER Y RESPETAR.

I love sharing my life with people from my country and from all over the world. I consider that Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to do/reach that. I also love to hear different and new experiences of life from other people, perhaps, leading a totally different life than mine. I learn a lot from that, and in fact I believe that that's the true spirit of living on this Planet: LEARNING AND RESPECTING.

Interests

Me gusta leer un buen libro, me gusta pasar un tiempo en silencio también donde trato de encontrarme con la parte mia más interna, También disfruto mucho en tener largas y profundas conversaciones con cada uno que me encuentro en el camino de mi vida. Disfruto muchísimo hacer largas caminatas en la naturaleza, en las montañas, rodeado de naturaleza en estado puro. Disfruto mucho mirar buenas películas, escuchar diferentes estilos de música; por otro lado me encanta cantar (pero creo que canto muy mal...jajaja!). También me interesa mucho en aprender nuevos idiomas.

I like to read a good book, I also like to spend some time in silence in which I try to meet with the inner part of me , I enjoy very much having long and deep conversations with anyone I meet in my path of life. I do enjoy a lot to have long walks in the nature, in the mountains, surrounded by pure nature. I also like and enjoy watching good movies, listening to different kind of music; on the other hand I love singing (but I believe I sing pretty bad.... lol), I am also interested in learning new languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Tiendo a disfrutar películas que evocan una conección emocional o alguna de esas que te hagan pensar....con una especie de final abierto para analizar. También me gustan mucho las películas de acción, tanto como las cómicas; pero en realidad disfruto cualquier película o documental en general.

Mi gusto musical es bastante ecléctico. Tiende a ser bastante al azar, es decir me gusta una canción por aquí, otra por allá, es claro que disfruto que cualquier estilo musical. Desde un cantante solista o una gran banda famosa nacional o internacional hasta un artista callejero desconocido o una banda desconocida, de alguna parte del mundo.

Leer por placer es una pasión, no es cierto?. Bien, a mí me interesa leer acerca de Greografía Global, Ciencias Naturales, Medicina -especialmente anatomía-, y algunas veces novelas, pero éstas últimas debo admitir que lo hago muy de vez en cuando.

I tend to enjoy all those movies that evoke an emotional connection or one of those that make you think, with a kind of an open ending to analyze. I am also very keen on action movies as much as funny movies ; but in fact I do enjoy any movie or documentary, in general.

My taste in music is rather eclectic... Tends to be rather random with a song I like here and another song there. Is clear that I enjoy any style of music; from a single famous artist/singer or a big national or international band to a small unknown street artist or unknown band from somewhere in the world.

Reading for pleasure is a passion, isn´t that right? Well, I am very interested in reading about Global Geography, Natural Sciences, Medicine -specially anatomy-, and sometimes novels, but these last ones, I must admit that I do it very occasionally.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- He hecho un Intercambio estudiantil por un año en el Reino de Dinamarca (1994-1995).
- He caminado y explorado los alrededores de las Pirámides de Egypto, las últimas de las siete antiguas Maravillas del Mundo que se mantienen en pié.
- He hecho esnórquel en la Gran Barrera de Corales de Australia, Cairns.
- He caminado sobre un volcán en Guatemala, (América Central).
- He estado navegando en cruceros en distintos lugares del mundo debido a mi trabajo, pero la experiencia más increíble fue haber navegado bajando a lo largo de toda la linea costera del Océano Pacífico, -( desde la parte norte de Alaska (Estados Unidos de America) hasta arribar a Buenos Aires, la ciudad capital de mi propio país, Argentina, situado en Sudamérica sobre el Océano Atlántico)-.

- I have been an Exchange Student in Denmarks´Kindom for one year (1994-1995).
- I have explored and walked arround the Great Pyramids of Egypt, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world (The last one which still stands, in fact).
- I have snorkeled in The Great Barrier Reef of Australia, Cairns.
- I have walked on a volcano in Guatemala (Central América).

- I have been cruising in a lot of places in the world because of my job, but the most amazing experience was sailing all the way down along the Pacific Ocean line coast, -(from the north part of Alaska (USA) to arrive in Buenos Aires capital city (Argentina, my home land, situated in South America on the Atlantic Ocean side)-.

Teach, Learn, Share

Puedo enseñar mi lengua madre, Español; y estoy dispuesto a aprender todo lo que la otra persona decida compartir conmigo.
Me gustaría compartir mi casa, , mis experiencias, mis proyectos, una larga y linda charla tomando mates de por medio (típica bebida argentina) , comer un rico asado, mi manera de ver a la gente.

I am willing to teach Spanish, my mother tongue; and I am also willing to learn anything that the other decides to share with me.
I would like to share my house , my experiences, long and nice talks while drinking mates (typical Argentinean drink), to eat a delicious grilled meat (asado), my way of seeing people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Puedo ofrecer una habitación privada en la casa de campo, un lugar aislado y muy tranquilo para poder relajarse, también les puedo ofrecer comida, bebida y principalmente mi tiempo para tener y compartir largas y significativas charlas; además les enseñaré el áerea donde vivo, aunque se encuentra ubicado lejos de las bonitas ciudades turísticas de mi provincia. La ciudad donde vivo es bastante pequeña y seguramente no encuentren actividades interesantes para hacer o explorar. Vivo en una región la cual es llamada La Pampa, en donde el terreno es completamente plano, es decir, no está rodeada de sierras, ni montañas, ni lagos en absoluto. Debería conducir al menos 130 km. para encontrar y ver lagos y sierras. Argentina es un país tan vasto que en términos de distancias se sorprenderán. Se los puedo asegurar.

* Distancia a la Capital Federal, Buenos Aires: 600 km.

I can offer a private room in the house I have on the farm, a very isolated and peaceful place to relax, I can also offer you some food, something to drink and mainly my time to have and share long and meaningful talks, and also I will show around the area where I live; even though it is far away from the nice and big touristic cities/places of my province. The city where I live is not a big one, and surely you may not find interesting things to do or to explorer. I live in a region which is called The Pampa, where the land is completely flat. I mean, the place is not surrounded by hills, neither mountains nor lakes at all. I should have to drive at least 130 km. to find and see some lakes and hills. Argentina is such a large country that in terms of distances you will be surprised. I can assure you that.
