Music is music and there is a lot of stuff I like, but one thing that really strikes a chord inside me is the Soul music of the '60's, Otis Redding, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke and others; some jazz & blues; the poets, John Lennon, Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen..many other things.
If you make me listen to a song and I feel it's a gem, I'll never forget you.

The novels of Gombrowicz, Mulisch and Dostojevski, stories of Kafka and Borges; Nietzsche, Camus, Orwell; poetry of Pessoa, Rimbaud

Movies: many, Citizen X is a particular favorite;
many unseen, always up for watching one!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Working in one of Antwerp's most dodgy and fantastic bars, frequented by a colourful mix of people. It was great fun and I surely learned more there than in university.

On our way to one of the refugee camps in Southern Turkey for the people of Kobane people, my friends and I discovered four orphaned puppies in a field. They'd been there for a while and were waiting to die; we took them and brought them as new friends for the children in the camp. Being there with the people in that time and in that place was all great, anyway, we all felt very close and very alive.

On this travel I immerse myself more and more in eastern spiritual tradition and I'm finding much happiness in that.
