Hey there, I am Ivo! I can describe myself as a positive and open-minded person. I really like travelling and meeting people in the places I visit.

In my free time I like to play the guitar make music on Garage Band and improvise. I also do different kinds of sports, mostly running, cycling, climbing and basket.

In Denmark, I started attending a Bulgarian dances class, where I met my girlfriend Kali, who I live with. She is super sweet, very crafty and curious, interested in sustainable living, Asian cultures, and is now a much more regular climber than I am 😀

If you are about to request to stay, we have an indoor bouldering wall 5 minutes from our place, where we could go, no matter if it's gonna be your first time, or you are going to teach us how it's done 😀 at that place we can also play indoors basket.

Apart from that, we really like cooking, we rarely go to restaurants, so it will be great if we cook together. We enjoy a lot gathering culinary ideas from fellow travelers, experimenting and trying new things :)

I really enjoy exploring new cultures and I definitely think that the best way to do that is to meet locals. That is why I like to meet and listen to people, as we all have unique stories to tell and the pleasure from a trip is 100 times more if there is someone to share it with!

Musica, film e libri

I like jazz, funk and blues, also soft and acoustic rock. Kali is into K-pop but we are both fans of Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson and John Mayer. I also like a lot the classical rock and pop music :)

I love reading! I personally started reading more in past 5 years and my preferences change a lot. Favourite books would be Shantaram, East of Eden, Hunger Games, His dark materials.

My first couchsurfing experience - a tent camp in Kamchia, Bulgaria, organized by the Couchsurfing community in Varna, Bulgaria, where I met a lot of interesting people from all over the world!
