I'm a graduate student in Social Psychology. I was born in Nigeria, came to Los Angeles with my mother when I was 4 months old, moved to Arizona when I was 15 and went to New Haven, CT to attend Yale University. I'm back in LA for graduate school but enjoy traveling when I can.

I'll be in Minneapolis for a conference at the end of June and it'd be a lot cheaper for me to leave on Monday the 27th but I just realized that, so I'd love to crash the night and spend one more day in the city.

Interessi

I love reading articles, short stories, books; fiction and nonfiction. I respect the power of the written word. I've been running recently which has been awesome because I used to hate it. I love dancing, and exploring new cities, and meeting new people.

Musica, film e libri

I love Lemonade by Beyonce right now, particularly the visual album. Beyond that, I love lots of different types of music: Yuna, Nico & Vinz, Lianne La Havas, etc etc.

I enjoy comedies and thrillers.

Like I said above, I love books. Those with strong female characters and characters of color are my faves. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is my favorite author.

Sticking with this PhD program has been amazing. Beyond that, I started a podcast with my best friend from Yale (The Get, check us out!) and that experience has been pretty amazing!
