Who is Ivy
He fills his life with lots of things.
He is always in a hurry, and when he doesn't he feels completely still.
From theatre to cooking, from dance to photography,
he likes all forms of art.
He loves not-package travels. Also when he is far away he feels at HOME:
"it's almost easier meeting people and let people meet you
on the other side of the earth, than close to house."

Si riempie la vita di un sacco di cose.
E' sempre di corsa e quando non corre si sente fermo.
Appassionato dell'arte:
dal teatro alla cucina, dalla danza alla fotografia.
Ama i viaggi non organizzati. Quando va in case lontane si sente a CASA:
"E' quasi più facile incontrare e lasciarsi incontrare
all'altro capo del mondo, che sulla soglia di casa."

PHILOSOPHY

Ivy-philosophy: beyond the space
If "space" is something partitioning, or separating what's "“mine" from "yours", then I don't like it. When I was a child when I didn't like something eating, I didn't eat it at all! (artichokes, how disgusting!). Now I'm grown-up and I can't eat the space! Why would I have to eat the space? Have you ever bought at supermarket 2hg of space? If you haven't, so you're not alone! We're two, two at least!
And then you're like me: n... normal! But WHAT REALLY MEANS "“NORMAL"?!
I try to go a step beyond, or better still, why don't you also try with me?
So LET TRY ALL TOGETHER TO GO BEYOND THE SPACE!
Imagine a huge, boundless meadow where you may meet people
TO THINK, TO OBSERVE, TO HEAR OR SIMPLY TO FEEL EMOTIONS,
NAIVELY, LIKE A CHILD... who keep eating no artichokes at all! (naive but not stupid!)

La Ivy-filosofia: ol3lospazio
Se lo spazio é qualcosa che divide, che separa il "“mio" dal "tuo" allora no, non mi piace!
Da bambino quando non mi piaceva qualcosa, non la mangiavo (che schifo i carciofi!). Ora sono grande e non posso non mangiare lo spazio! Ma perché dovrei mangiarlo? Hai mai comperato al supermercato due etti di spazio? Se non lo hai fatto allora siamo in due, almeno due! E allora sei anche tu come me: n... normale! Ma COS'E'† NORMALE?
Mi spingo un po' oltre, anzi proviamo ad ANDARE oltre entrambi. E se a leggere non sei solo TU? Oppure se a pensarla così non fossi solo IO? Andando oltre entrambi lo facciamo solo tu ed io, e GLI ALTRI? Proviamo ad andare tutti ASSIEME OLTRE LO SPAZIO.
Immagina un immenso prato morbido, senza confini, dove si incontrano persone senza fine (intendo senza uno specifico obiettivo, ma anche in continuazione, senza termine) per RIFLETTERE, OSSERVARE, ASCOLTARE o semplicemente PROVARE UN'EMOZIONE. CON L'INGENUITA' DI UN BAMBINO... che non mangia i carciofi (ingenuo sì, ma farmi fregare con un giro di parole no eh!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the great opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people surfing and hosting. Also before knowing CS I used to travel asking people to let me know their culture leaving a few days with them and sharing moments of daily life. I still do that in places where people don't know anything about Internet and technology (I like isolated and not touristic places). With some of these international friends (CS and not officially CS) we are still in touch, with others we just know that the "piece of life" that we shared is now a "mutual baggage". And I thank them to be what I am nowadays.

Ho avuto l'opportunità di incontrare molte persone interessanti surfando e ospitando. Anche prima di conoscere CS, nei miei viaggi mi piaceva chiedere alla gente che incontravo di poter conoscere la loro cultura venendo ospitato da loro e condividendo momenti di vita quotidiana. Continuo a farlo in luoghi dove la gente non sa nulla di internet e di tecnologia (mi piace viaggiare in luoghi poco turistici e piuttosto isolati). Con alcuni di questi amici internazionali (CS e non ufficialmente CS) siamo ancora in contatto, con altri ci basta sapere che il "pezzo di vita" che abbiamo condiviso é ora un "bagaglio reciproco". E li ringrazio per essere ancora presenti nel mio "essere".
