About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet interesting people while I'm out and about.
And one day, be the best dog owner ever.
ABOUT ME
I'm all about good food and good times. I like taking photos, it's the closest thing we have to keeping something forever. I love the ocean even though I'm afraid of it. I recently learned to ski (yes, at age 22) and it's one of my favourite things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My priority is definitely just to meet people from around the world, to hang out and talk! I'll be travelling around quite a bit this summer so I'm looking forward to having some company. As much as I love travelling solo, it's nice to break out of that every once in a while!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never hosted or been a guest, but I love using Couchsurfing to meet people.
Interests
After watching a TON of ski and snowboard films, I finally decided to learn to ski at age 22. Everyone I know already knows how to ski so I ended up taking adult beginner classes at Cypress. It was really the beginning of what I think is going to be a lifelong passion. Even though I fell a million times, had my skis detached, was soaked from head to toe... it was awesome!! And I can't wait for the season to start again.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love French music. I love Québécois bands like Les Cowboys Fringants or Les Colocs. Also a huge fan of older French music like Charles Aznavour or Françoise Hardy. Also, I dig karaoke.
Hot Fuzz has got to be one of my favourite films. Never fails to make me laugh. It's also one of the only DVDs that I own.
I'm a huge David Sedaris fan. He's a rockstar. Cares a lot about his fans too and stays to sign every single book. I've been to three of his readings now: twice in Vancouver and once in Glasgow.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skinny dipped in the Mediterranean, floating and staring at the stars. An unforgettable moment of peace.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're looking to improve your English, I'm down to help! I've done a lot of private tutoring with francophones while living in Quebec. I also have a TESOL certification from Oxford Seminars. In the past, I've worked at a local college facilitating experiential learning activities for Japanese exchange students. This was probably one of my most rewarding experiences. I look forward to more teaching experiences in the future!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll cook, I'll clean and I'll sing a song while doing it!
