ABOUT ME

Completely in love with life. Graphic designer by profession. Waterbaby - my ideal life is one lived by the sea.

Just moved back to Manila after spending some time in the US. I can't host people at the moment but am definitely down if you need someone to show you around the city (or the country!). We can get food, or go diving, or surfing, or hiking, you name it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and I love meeting new people from all walks of life. I believe everyone has an amazing story to tell if you just gave them a chance. Couchsurfing brings out the good in everyone. It's also the perfect way to get to know a place by seeing it through local eyes.

Interests

I love being in the water in all forms. Scuba and freediving, surfing, swimming. Mountain climbing, hiking. Art (my first love). Music, playing the guitar. Food and healthy eating. Marine conservation. Mindfulness and sustainable living.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent three weeks in an extremely remote group of islands in the northernmost tip of the Philippines, heading out at sea everyday to do research on breeding humpback whales.

The boat ride back to the mainland was equally amazing - 5 hours on a tiny outrigger boat, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, being incessantly pounded by 4 metre swells & 22 knot winds. Craziest ride of my life!

Lastly, every sunset I have ever seen in my life - from rooftops, plane windows, mountain peaks, floating inns on stilts in the middle of the sea, crowded beach shores, uninhabited volcanic rock islands, my apartment balcony, etcetera etcetera. They never fail to take my breath away!
