About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience the world while I'm still young (and wild) and free.

ABOUT ME

I'm Chinese-American - my mom grew up in Hong Kong and my dad was born and raised in El Salvador. I was born in Texas but I grew up in Portland, Oregon. I love the Pacific Northwest - the BEER, the coffee, the trees, and the people. I went to university for 4 years in Los Angeles and lived in London for a year for graduate school. Now I live in Brooklyn, NY, and I love it.

PHILOSOPHY

Change is good. Everything will work out in the end.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best friend and I CouchSurfed with Mathieu in Paris for 4 nights - we had a blast!

I hosted Daniele, who was moving to London from Bergamo, Italy and needed a place to stay for a few days while he looked for an apartment.

Holger, from Germany, came here on holiday and stayed for four nights at my place.

Interests

I love cooking elaborate meals from scratch, people-watching, and wandering through new cities. I am a vegetarian for environmental reasons, though I do eat fish (I have a weakness for sushi!). I also enjoy reading, visiting art museums, and having pints with good friends.

I also like cheese...gelato...hot sauce...chocolate...red wine.
