Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used Couchsurfing in the past to find places for my bands to stay while on tour. Now that I live in a large house with lots of space, I'm looking forward to doing some hosting, and looking for hosts on my ongoing adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Over the last few years I've moved further and further away from Rock and Roll, and have become more and more interested in listening to and making electronic music. Some of my favorite artists right now are Todd Terje, Siriusmo, The Juan Maclean, and Melkeveien.

The best movie I saw last year was probably Ex Machina.

I'm currently reading quite a few different books. Recently I've enjoyed Kill Your Friends by Jonathan Niven, and Solaris by Stanislaw Lem.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played to crowds of thousands and empty rooms.

Hiked to the top of Monserrat (Spain) in leather soled Florsheims with my laptop in a bag on my back.

Advanced from a complete novice to climbing V5 and 5.11+ in 18 months.
