About Me

I love photography, mountains, books and art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I must say that when I was still only thinking about joining cuchsurfing community, I was mostly driven by how much money I would save on that (just a poor student thing :p). Nowadays my attitude changed completely, meeting people that i wouldn’t have met in any different situation, sharing experiences and stories with them is the best thing about traveling and this site. I'm finally able to also host people (here in Gdańsk) and I try to do it whenever I can :) What I also love about couchsurfing is that every encounter with a person I meet through this site broaden and changes my perspective on life and world a little bit. And that's such a precious thing, thank you all for that!

Interests

I'm mostly interested in all kinds of design, photography, drawing, architecture, arts and stuff. Travel of course, as everyone here! Visiting amazing cities and trekking in the mountains. I also love to read, prose as well as poetry. Recently I gained interest in yoga. I’m totally a foodie. But except all of that I also love getting to know about new things so for sure we'll have something to talk about :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love love love books. Right now I decided that I have to read more non fiction than fiction. Before I mostly foused on the second category, but there's so much I still don't know about the world around us. I want to get to know those real stories of nations, of singular people, their history and culture and try to understand them, and in consequence the world, a little better :) Some of my favourite books are "The master and Margarita" by M. Bulhakov, "Arch of Triumph" by E. M. Remarque, "A Treatise on Shelling Beans" by Wiesław Myśliwski, most of the work by Tiziano Terzani, Ryszard Kapuściński, Milan Kundera, Bohumil Hrabal, Haruki Murakami, poetry by Wiesław Szymborska and many many more :) Movies: 12 Angry Men, The great beauty, Big Fish, Amelie, Wes Anderson movies and again many many more A bit of Classic rock bands like Queen, Pink Floyd, Lee Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones. A bit of Indie bands and some singer&songwriters. Lots of polish music. Ah, it's really hard to start listing them out ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked 600km on the Camino the Santiago way, my feet still hurts when I think about it!
