Hi, I'm Inne, I'm studying marine biology now so I can work on a boat in the future, and I love getting from place to place without airplanes e.g. by hitch-hiking or walking, or taking 10 trains in 10 hours...It's all about feeling the distance! Maybe that's also because I'm a geographer, I like maps :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet people via couchsurfing because people on couchsurfing often share the same interests and also like travelling in a similar way. I've had some unforgettable adventures via couchsurfing (using my mum's 'family' couchsurfing account, I've finally made one on my own!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different kinds of music, love listening to live music, some of the bands close to my heart are The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Moriarty, Arno, Flip Kowlier, recently I discovered the French Feloche also amazing, The Drums, Vampire Weekend, Violent Femmes ... often bands that I liked before and then saw live made me like them even more because whenever you listen to them it brings you back to that concert memory!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Iceland was one of the most amazing things I've done because we didn't plan anything beforehand and in three weeks we saw so many amazing things I still think back to it a lot! Would love to go back but it'll never be the same as those three weeks we were there camping, hitch-hiking and eating skyrr!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can tell yo cool wonderful facts about geography (maps!) and marine biology! For example, did you know that there's a type of fish that keeps its own algae garden and coral reefs can send out odors to gobies so that they will eat coral's enemy algae!

Learn: Whenever I go on holiday somewhere I love to just learn how people live there and what their interests are and what they like to do for fun for example I loved learning about how to make your own wine in Hungary and how to eat your oatmeal for breakfast in Iceland!

Share: It's fun to share travel memories and I love listening to travel stories as well because then it feels like you were there with them!
