About Me

CURRENT MISSION

seize the day

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24-year-old girl hmm a typical Polish person living and studying in Edinburgh. Almost each day I'm complaining here about the weather. I can't change myself and I can't change the weather.I fight with wind and rain every single day and hate to hear all of the conversation how nice it is today. When finally the SUN IN SHInING, I know from experience that it will be raining or snowing for the next weeks. Since the weather just sucks here I'm trying to be away from Scotland as much as I can. So I travel, travel and travel.

I think that I'm quite cynical, but I'm always enthusiastic about any volunteer mission :)
Always fancy for a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.
Half litre of sturbacks mug with whipped cream on the top is not coffee for me !!

Love online shopping. amazon and ebay are my best friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

host and surf.

host and surf

When I'm thinking about traveling I'm always thinking about couchsurfing as well. I tried CS for the first time and I can't just go over it. Hostels, hotels, guesthouses do not exist for me anymore. But the feeling that I will meet people with totally different experience that they can show me places which I can't find in the lonely planet, give me tips where to eat, where to go for coffee or beer is just amazing :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed couches for the first time during EuroTrip with my friend Natalia. We bought 7 flights for £32 and we went to Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Milan and Palma de Mallorca. We met fantastic people who were more than welcome to host us. Afterwards during summer, I opened my own flat for couchsurfers and I hosted a lot of interesting people from all over the world. In 2010 I was couchsurfing in Livno (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Ljubljana, Banja Luka, Trieste. The trip to Asia in 2011 brought another experience with CS (I even found couch in Cambodia). Hope that more experience will come in the near future.
