My name is Izabela and I'm a biologist and also an English teacher. I´m back to Brazil after two years living abroad for the first time, in Stockholm and working at the Botany department of the Swedish Museum of Natural History. It was an amazing and interesting experience!!! :)

Interests

I love to walk, enjoy the nature, pay attention to the colours of the trees getting a little bit diferent as the autumm season gets closer, like to dance (especially forró), go to cafes (and read Harry Potter), sit and talk about life and drink a capuccino or a beer (only one beer, or maybe two, i can't do more than that! ), go to museums, meet touristic places.. all that stuffs tourists love doing! :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I love dancing, so I like pop music, and also some brazilian kinds of music, like forró and samba!

Love comedy TV series, like "Friends" and "The Big Bang Theory". Also liked "The Walking Dead" and "Gilmore Girls" and "Breaking Bad".

The best book I've ever read was "The book Thief" from Markus Zusak and "The God of Small Things" from Arundathi Roy. And right now Í´m falling in love with Harry Potter! ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever done in my life was to go to live here in Sweden! This is my very first time living in another country, and I've ALWAYS wanted to do that, but I've never thought I would go that far... :D
I loved the spring, my favorite season, really enjoyed the never ending sun of the summer, I enjoyed a lot the beautiful colours autumm, but I have to admit I was a little bit afraid (terrified) about the winter!!! After all, I've lived my entire life in Brazil!!! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I could help people that want to learn Portuguese or improve their English. And I also really want to learn another languages, like Swedish and French, and I would be interested to learn a bit of any other language of the planet! Anything that would help me to comunicate better!

I've already lived in nine diferent cities, eight in Brazil, and now in Stockholm, and I've met hundreds of people along the way. I loved to meet all the diferent places I've been, but what really make this experiences special was the people the people that I've made friends with!
