ABOUT ME
I am a college student graduating in the spring. I am familiar with 10+ hour road trips on very low budgets and I know what it is like to have to sleep in a car once you reach your destination. That is why I joined CS to give others like myself a place to stay after those long drives and to meet new people. In my travels I have met some amazing people and from them I have learned to do amazing things. Traveling and going on adventures introduces me to people and situations that may not always be ideal at the time, but looking back I am always happy I had those experiences. I hope that CS will not only allow me to travel to places that I never thought I would go, but also to meet new people and have new experiences that I can learn from.
PHILOSOPHY
Live every day to the fullest

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I welcome other weary travelers to visit me at my home, talk to, crash on my couch, or climb on my bouldering wall in my apartment.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I really just got started using CS. My roommate has used it and encouraged me to make my own profile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have eaten a fried tarantula...tasted like hairy beef jerky...I wouldn't recommend it. Skydiving was fun though. Do that. I have also been bungee jumping, hiking in Myanmar, scuba diving in Grand Cayman, "deep" water soloing in Thailand, zip lining in Honduras, and recently I took a nap at my grandma's house during our family Christmas (if you knew how many little kids there were and how noisy it was, you would realize how amazing that is)
Teach, Learn, Share
Always try something new and be adventurous. I am currently a "climbing consultant" for the Purdue Outing Club and I love to teach and continue to learn about rock/ice climbing. If you are a climber or just want to learn about the sport, I'm always ready to talk about climbing and other outdoor adventures.
